Dish of soft-paste porcelain, painted in enamels, transfer-printed over the glaze in black, and moulded in relief in the form of two vine-leaves, with edges bordered in green, and stalks coloured yellow forming the handle; in the centre is a group of birds among trees

One of a pair with 414:65/A-1885 (Sch. I 466/A); on this, however, see below.
One dish was purchased by Lady Charlotte Schreiber from Walker, Bath, for £1 in September 1869, and the other from Mrs Becks, Bristol, for in January [?] 1870
