Figure of a saddled horse, grey earthenware with traces of white slip and pigment. Modelled in the form of a standing horse, back legs slightly apart and bent, tail erect, wearing a saddle with saddlecloth, and with bridal ornaments on nose and forelock. This horse represents a breed from the Mongolian steppes with a stocky body and short legs. The body was made from two press-moulded pieces that were luted together. The tail, saddle and mane were then attached.
