Figure group of a European musician and a boy, blanc-de-chine porcelain with greyish white glaze. The musician squats on a bench with left leg raised, and plays an instrument resembling a mandolin. To his left, on the same oval base, stands a boy in similar dress holding a bag in his left hand, and an object in his right. The base is open and the model is hollow.
