Cizhou ware vase with globular body set on spreading foot, trumpet-shaped neck with flared mouth and rolled-down rim. Stoneware with white and black slips under clear glaze. Round the body with sgraffito decoration of peony and scrolling foliage in black on a white ground. Foot black, with incised lines radiating above it.
