This paper is a copy in reverse of 'Les Deux Pigeons', a wallpaper by Jean Baptiste Réveillon (1765-89), circa 1785. The same pattern is also to be found at Clandon Park, Surrey (a property of the National Trust), a portion of which is E.2239-1974.
