This is a bronze medal made in England around 1801, and signed "P. K." This medal commemorates the union of the Kingdoms. The obverse of this medal represents the figure of Time, who, dropping one hour-glass is receiving another from a hand emerging from clouds. The reverse shows a rose, a thistle, and a shamrock, and the words "May this and every future age witness the prosperity of the United Kingdoms. January 1, 1801."
