Physical description
Porcelain bowl painted in underglaze blue. On the outside with three of the Four Liberal Accomplishments, divided by willow, paulownia and plantain trees; below are sixteen panels, moulded in lotus petal form and each containing a lotus flower, alternately naturalistic and stylised. Inside, on the bottom, three boys at play; round the foliate rim with diaper border.
