Physical description

Plate of soft-paste porcelain painted with enamels and gilded, and with the 'partridge pattern' after the Japanese potter Kakiemon. Fluted and with a scalloped rim. Painted in red, blue, green and gold with two quails and flowering plants. Formal border in red and gold.
