Figure, in soft-paste porcelain painted in enamels and gilded, of a dancing young man; he wears a crimson jacket with yellow sleves of theatrical or commedia dell'arte cut and clerical, legal or academic bands at his neck; he has a yellow hat and flowered breeches; he stands, supported by a tree stump with large applied flowers and leaves, on a four-footed rococo pedestal picked out in gold
