This is a bronze medal made in England around 1856. The obverse of this medal represents the fall of Sebastopol, the flags of the Allies, the seales of Justice, and a symbolic reference to the massacres by the Russians of the Turks at Sinope and the British at Hango; "Fall of Sebastopol, Sep. 8th, 1855." The reverse shows the inscription "The Allied give peace to Europe, March 30th, 1856" within a wreath.
