This is a bronze medal made in England around 1854, and signed "Punch d. Allen and Moore f." The obverse of this medal represents a British grenadier and a French soldier fraternising, and inscriptions "the Holy Alliance", "La Sainte Alliance" and "1854." The reverse shows the inscription "La France et l'Angleterre unis pour secourir les opprimés et pour venger l'Europe insulté" between laurel branches.
