This is a bronze medal made in England around 1801. The obverse of this medal represents the figure of Peace standing on the shore, emptying the contents of a horn of plenty; merchant ships in the background. The reverse shows a shield with crossed swords behind it, and the inscription around "Preliminaries of peace between Great Britain and France, signed October 1st, 1801."
