Physical description
E.357 to 375-1989 form a limited edition boxed-set compilation of recordings by Dead Can Dance, This Mortal Coil, Colourbox, Dif Juz, The Wolfgang Press, Clan of Xymox, The Cocteau Twins and Throwing Muses for 4AD.
The boxed-set comprises: an American Beech case; 12-inch long-playing record sleeve, foldout insert, booklet, inner-sleeve and record; compact cassette case, inlay, booklet and tape; compact disc jewel case, inlay booklet and disc; video library case, inlay, leaflet and tape; two limited-edition prints: ‘Sore to the Touch’ and ‘Flag’.
Each format is lettered with titles and credits.

Object history note
This limited edition boxed-set by graphic designer Vaughan Oliver is a fine example of the care he takes in the production of packaging which is in complete accord with the artistic concerns of the musicians, the record company (4AD Records) and with his own understanding and appreciation of the music.
