This is a gilt bronze medal made in the 18th century. The obverse of this medal represents Britannia in a car attended by Justice and Liberty, with motto and the date MDCCLVIII. Around are the names of the victories achieved during the year, the dates, and the names of the successful generals. The reverse shows a shield charged with a fleur-de-lys reserved, surrounded by a inscribed garter inscribed "Perfidia eversa" and supported by a crowned lion and a unicorn. There is a label underneath, inscribed "Ausp. Geo. II. W. Pitt, Pr. Mr" and the date MDCCLIX.
