This is a bronze medal made in the 18th century. The obverse of this medal represents Britannia riding on a seahorse, Victory placing a wreath on her head, and the legend "Britain triumphed", "Nov. XX., MDCCLIX." The reverse shows figures representing France and Britain in combat, Tempest between them, and Night over shadowing them. The exergue is inscribed "France relinquishes the sea. S.P.A.C."
