This is a gilt electrotype medal made in the 19th century. This medal was copied from the late 17th century Irish original. The obverse of this medal represents a portrait bust of the Reverend John Walker. The reverse shows the arms of Londonderry encircled by a garter inscribed "Vita, veritas, victoria." Around this are the inscriptions "Seventh December 1688", "First August 1689", "Apprentice Boys of Derry" and "No Surrender." This medal has a swivel and ribbon.
