Stoneware bottle with with brown salt-glaze. The body and glaze is of saltstone; a mixture of red clay, calcined animal bone, feldspar and iron oxide. The body is cylindrical topped with a truncated conical form, surmounted by bulbous, almost corpulent circular rim with a pulled forward proto-spout. Opposite this is applied, ribbed handle attached at the top of the cylinder and at the top of the truncated cone, but rising between these points to a height superior to that of the rim. The rim is capable of receiving a cork stopper.

Physical description
Stoneware bottle with with brown salt-glaze. The body and glaze is of saltstone; a mixture of red clay, calcined animal bone, feldspar and iron oxide.
