This part of a terracotta pilaster is decorated in relief with a vase, acanthus, birds and wheat.

Physical description

Pilaster, portion of. Terracotta, decorated in relief with a vase supported by a stem of acanthus leaves symmetrically arranged; on either side is a bird perched on a floral scroll, which springs from the central stem; two bunches of wheat are susupended from the edge of the vase.
