A tiny figure of Rama or one of his brothers in the usual slightly flexed abhanga pose with both arms raised to hold a bow and arrow which are missing. The figure wears a long garland round his neck down to his knees and stands on a plain round pedestal on a square base. The object shows substantial wear from its devotional use in puja.

Object history
Transferred from the India Museum to the South Kensington Museum (now V&A) in 1879. The India Museum slip book entry (number 465) states that it was received from 'Col. MacKenzie'.
Colonel Colin McKenzie was a British antiquarian whose survey of the Deccan was completed in 1806. He died in Calcutta in 1821.
