This is a silvered electrotype medal made in the 19th century. The obverse of this medal represents a cavalry soldier on a prancing horse, and the legend "West Somerset Yeomanry. C. K. K. Tynte Coll." The reverse is inscribed "Merit. Troop Sergt Major John Carter. Bridgewater Troop. May 1835." This medal has a slide and ribbon.
