This is a silver medal made in the late 18th century England, and signed "C. H. Küchler." This medal was given to officers. The obverse of this medal represents the figure of Hope supporting a medallion portrait of Lord Nelson, "Real-Admiral Lord Nelson of the Nile." The reverse shows the Battle of the Nile, and the legend "Almighty God has blessed his Majesty's arms." In the exergue, "Victory of the Nile. August 1, 1798." The rim is inscribed "A tribute of regard from Alexr Davison, Esq., St. James's Square."
