Physical description

Dish of lead glazed earthenware with a concave surface and steep sides to the foot rim, and glazed with white slip on a greenish lead glaze on the face to which is added a grey painted rectangle into which has been incised with a crouching hedgehog.

Object history note

Part of a set of five dishes C.106 to D-1979.
A similar set was made in the same year and acquired by Sir Robert Armitage, then Governor of Cyprus, from the artist's exhibition at the British Institute in Nicosia.
