On the left of the room there are a few canvases lent against the wall and one large painting, standing on an easel, depicting a knight with three ladies.

The subject of the oil painting on the easel is 'Lady Constance, Arthur and Salisbury from Shakespeare's 'King John'. The painting is now in Zurich.
