Physical description
Plate of cream coloured earthenware, rectangular shape with rounded corners, and printed in the centre in black with two stylised doves in a landscape, and around the inside of the rim is a border of stylised organic shapes.

Object history note
One plate of seven C.79 to 85-1978. The original drawings are in the V&A's Prints and Drawings Department: E.527 to 660-1978 pp 1-5.
The transfer designs were made by Laurence Scarfe from lithographs at the Royal College of Art under Professor Robert Baker, Head of the Ceramics School.
