Circular plate of earthenware, of a shallow dish shape with a wide rim, and the body is buff coloured with a clear glaze over a printed design, and the under part of the rim is edged with black and has three bands of light brown, the outer in thin and the inner two are thick, and in the centre of the plate is a sea shell with black bands resting on black flecked sand.
