Cross, cypress wood, carved, mounted in silver-gilt framework, compartments and turquoises, imitation garnets and enamels.
Physical description
Cross. Cypress wood, minutely carved on one side with the Virgin and Child, St Simeon and St Anne, and an angel above, and on the other side with the crucified Savious, the Virgin, St. John, and an angel above. The whole is mounted in a silver-gilt framework composed of arched compartments, and set round the side with turquoises, imitation garnets and blue and green enamel.
