The obverse of this medal represents a crown and laurel branches, with the words "Prize Medal for the best shot in the 52nd Regt." The reverse shows the inscription "Presented by Genl Sir Stamford Whittingham, K. C. B., K. C. H., West Indies, 1837." This medal has a ring and ribbon.
