This is a silvered electrotype medal made in the 19th century, in England. The obverse of this medal represents an Eastern view, and a soldier discharging a cannon. The reverse shows the inscriptions "H. M. 17th Regimental School, 1816" and "The Reward of Merit" within laurel branches.
