Object history | The Gustav Goerke room of 1911 from the Müller-Stüler house in Hamburg, was acquired from the family by the Museum in in 1979. The list of contents recorded in the acquisition paperwork as follows: 'two ranges of cupboards, a door-frame, sofa, round table, two armchairs, large desk, stool, tub chair, table-lamp.' A hand-written note on the catalogue records 'green curtains originally, and green portieres, ceiling dark blue, blue floor to match furniture, originally stove en suite. lamp shade yellow silk with green binding.' |
