This is a gilt electrotype copy medal made in the 19th century. This medal was copied from the Swedish original given by the King of Sweden to British officers who assisted at the reduction of the fortress of Gluckstadt, 1813-14. The obverse of this medal represents a Maltese cross, a shield, crowns and swords. The reverse shows laurel branches, and the words ""För Tapperhet. 1 Fält." This medal has a ribbon attached.
