This is a silver medal made in the 19th century, in England, and signed "Pistrucci." The obverse of this medal represents the trophies of arms and the royal arms. The reverse shows the inscription, "For long service and good conduct." This medal has a swivel and ribbon.

Historical context note

The Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal was first issued in 1830. In 1837 with the accession of Queen Victoria the Hannoverian shield on the original die was ordered to be removed, but new dies did not become available until 1839.
