Object history
Loaned to Sulgrave Manor, near Banbury 1968-1978. Later loaned to Tamworth Castle Museum (1983-2006).
Production
This chair is of the same model, and bears the same stamp, 'TB', as 702-1899. Similar also to W.50-1927, but that chair has spiral-turned uprights and three further crowns around the caned back; and the S-scrolls are carved, not plain as on the 'TB' model.
