Brocade woven in chenille and floss silks, and in silver and silver-gilt thread. Symmetrical pattern of bouquets of flowers, within compartments formed by foliations of irregular outline. The latter are festooned with roses and other flowers, and with bunches of grapes and ears of wheat. The pattern is in gold, silver, white and shades of red, green and purple, on a silver ground.
