Minute Paper
"Object brought to Museum - corner of upper moulding broken (replaced with white wood)" and
"This double chest of drawers inlaid with stars, of the time of William & Mary or Queen Anne, is a type unrepresented in the museum and would be acceptable"

25/2/18 Bracket inspects a variety of objects
and "had the opportunity of seeing the English Furniture which Lucas proposes to bequeath to the Museum. There are several very good pieces of 17th & 18th century furniture".

In 1968 this piece was on loan to the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich.
