Folio, leather-bound, describing the Fishmonger's Pageant on Lord Mayor's Day in 1616.
Physical description
Folio describing the Fishmonger's Pageant on Lord Mayor's Day in 1616 (Chrysanaleia, or The Golden Fishing, devised by Anthony Munday); printed for the Worshipful Company of Fishmongers in 1844. An historical introduction has been written by John Gough Nichols. The folio is lacking 12 plates by Henry Shaw.

It was originally presented with plates intact to the Rev. G.O. Leman (descendant of Sir John Leman) by the Worshipful Company of Fishmongers.
