This is a cup made in 17th century in Germany. The cup is carved in rock crystal with silver-gilt mounts, which are from the 19th century. This cup is carved in the form of a shell with scroll ornament, with a dolphin at the back ridden by a young silver-gilt and enamelled triton; the stem is formed by a three-headed silver-gilt and enamelled dragod holding a shield.
