Linen embroidered with sprays of fantastic flowers and leaves, and butterflies, in fine wool executed in herringbone stitch with buttonhole stitch and french knot highlights using shades of blue-green, yellow and pink. The embroidery fragmented and mounted on a modern linen backcloth.
