Two borders, both unfinished and with the design marked in pencil. Linen embroidered in fine wool with wavy stems of stylised flowers and leaves in shades of green, blue, red and yellow. Executed in herringbone, satin, rope, cross and running stitches, and french knots.

Two borders, both unfinished and with the design marked in pencil. Linen embroidered in fine wool with wavy stems of stylised flowers and leaves in shades of green, blue, red and yellow. Executed in herringbone, satin, rope, cross and running stitches, and french knots.
