Lady Weinberg is a self-trained designer. Working as Anouska Hempel, she opened her couture house in 1987. She is patronised by a prestigious clientele, including the Royal Family, and is celebrated for her refined evening wear and tailored clothing. This strapless dress has a high waisted, castellated bodice and a tulip line skirt, which gently gathers into a stiffened hem. The soft drapes of the skirt contrast with the pronounced geometric lines of the bodice and hem.(1997)
