Box and cover of circular form, covered with a crackled, greyish green celadon glaze. The box decorated with a band of white inlaid squared spirals on the sides. The cover is flat with rounded shoulders, and decorated with white and black inlaid designs. On top of the cover is a small flowerhead within double circles, surrounded by cranes and clouds which are further surrounded by a band of overlapping lotus petals. Along the side is a border of squared spirals.
