Cup and Saucer

Place of origin

Cup and saucer of soft-paste porcelain, decorated with gilding. Both pieces have an undulating edge, the cup has two handles. Round the rim of each piece is a wreath entwined with a string of beads. In the middle of the saucer and on the bottom of the cup inside is a carnation. On each side of the cup is a medallion containing the initials of Baron (afterwards the Earl of) Rawdon under a coronet.

Physical description
Cup and saucer of soft-paste porcelain, decorated with gilding. Both pieces have an undulating edge, the cup has two handles. Round the rim of each piece is a wreath entwined with a string of beads. In the middle of the saucer and on the bottom of the cup inside is a carnation. On each side of the cup is a medallion containing the initials of Baron (afterwards the Earl of) Rawdon under a coronet.
