One of a pair with 414:228/A-1885 (Sch. I 310A); on this, however, see below.
One bird was purchased by Lady Charlotte Schreiber from Lissauen, Hamburg, for 10 shillings in October 1880 and the other from Menzel, Aachen for 51 shillings in October 1882.
Acquired as Chelsea porcelain.
