Figure group of children at a peepshow, in biscuit soft-paste porcelain. Three children are gathered round a peepshow. The peepshow operator, wearing knee-breeches, jacket and hat leans with one arm on the box, while a girl, having put a basket of potatoes, kneels down to look through the aperture. A small, bare-foot boy tugs at her scarf as if to ask for a turn. The group is placed on an irregular, rocky base with decoration of applied leaves and flowers.
