Vase of soft-paste porcelain painted with enamels and gilded. Painted with figures of children in the manner of François Boucher. Bulbous body with a flaring neck, two scrolled handles rising from bearded masks, and a high foot. On one side of the body is a panel painted with a boy sitting asleep beside a tree and an overturned jug at his side, and on the other side are two children seated and talking, reserved on a light plum-coloured ground over which are bands of flowers in gold.
