Figure group in biscuit porcelain of two Bacchantes adorning Pan. On a high pedestal in front of a tree is a terminal figure of Pan. One of the Bachantes stands looking up at it with her right hand raised. The other is kneeling beside it is in the act of twining round it a garland of flowers. The group rests on a rocky base upon which are an ewer, a tambourine and a thyrsus.
