Production | Perhaps the figure model referred to in William Bemrose, Bow, Chelsea and Derby Porcelain, p. 114: 'Mr Vulliamy's respects and will give Mr Rossi a design for the male figure to match the female now modelling which he says will be a figure of Aesculapius (Jospeh Lygo to William Duesbury II, 4 November 1788). |
