Figure of a shepherd in soft-paste porcelain painted in enamels and gilded. He stands with his right arm outstretched proffering a gilded apple, with a dog at his right hand side, and a basket of fruit held at his left. He wears a black hat with white feather, and a turquoise cloak over a pink coat and flowered knee-breeches. He stands on pierced base embellished with rococo scrolls and surmounted by a low grassy mound from which two clumps of 'bocage' grow. 'Patch marks'.
