Fragment of a shawl of tapestry woven woollen twill.
White ground with one large complete boteh bending to the left and the upper part of one immediately below and part of one above. There is a selvedge down the right hand side. The flowers of the boteh seem to come from a green vase below which are horizontal stems with blue leaves and from which are 2 straight stems pointing diagonally down with red buds on the left hand side of the vase and green buds on the right. The flowers are predominantly red, some with yellow centres.
