Formerly in possesion of Mr. Leslie Godden. The outside of the bowl has three inscriptions: 'Three Black Gards March me and my two Frinde In this House', 'Agustin', and 'Luck less to the John Capt Nicholas Humphrey'. This piece was evidently commissioned by Capt. Humphrey to commemorate some episode in his seafaring career.
