Figure of a youth carrying a hen, of soft-paste porcelain. He is standing by a tree-stump with applied red and purple flowers. He holds in his right arm a hen; in his left hand, a short knobbed stick. He wears a yellow jacket, striped trousers reaching just below the knee, with bows of red ribbon, wide-brimmed blue hat and crimson shoes with bows of yellow ribbon. Slightly scrolled base, lightly touched with blue and gold.
